Mr. Srivastava comes with around 3 decades of experience in HR and Business leadership roles in India and overseas. He brings in his substantial knowledge and well-rounded expertise to advise and guide us in the next phase of our growth journey.
He is the founder Director & Vice Chairman of Deccan Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture Ltd, a reputed Chamber of Commerce in Maharashtra. He is the former Head – HR & Commercial of Oriental Rubber Industries Ltd, India & Oriental Rubber Industries SA (Pty) Ltd, South Africa.
He is also the immediate past Chairman, Export Promotion Council for SEZ and EOUs (Western Region), under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. He represents the Chamber as an active member of Permanent Trade Facilitation Committee – Pune Customs & GST Grievance Redressal Committee & Regional Advisory Committee – GST & Customs, Pune Zone.
Prior to moving to the Corporate sector, he served the nation with a stint in the Indian Air Force. He also had a brief stint with Bank of Baroda as “Specialist Officer”.
His academic affiliations include being associated with the College Development Committee of Ness Wadia College of Commerce, Pune, while he was also a member of the Committee appointed by the Vice-Chancellor, Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), for revision of the syllabus for the streams of Commerce and Management in October 2017. He was also a visiting faculty at Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS) and Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB).
Along with having an MBA, he also has an LLB and a Diploma in Labour Laws and Labour Welfare from the University of Pune. He also holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
He is also a Rotarian and member of Rotary Club – Pune Downtown.
He has travelled widely to European, American, African, and Asia-Pacific destinations.
Frequently invited as guest faculty by various reputed Management Institutes and as a speaker in various seminars/workshops conducted by reputed professional bodies, he enjoys teaching and sharing his knowledge with eager learners.
